TUESDAY, April 30, 2024 - PACKER DAY

395 slaughter cattle today including 182 fed steers and heifers that sold
with good demand on a 193.00 top. Overall quality was the best its been in
several weeks with several high graders in the offering!

Slaughter cows traded fully 3.00 higher but cull bulls were unevenly steady
without any high yielding bulls in the offering.

Thursday, April 25, 2024 - Special Feeder Sale

Today's feeder special consisted of 800 head and featured 6 loads
of yearling steers weighing from 808 to 980 lbs. The balance of the
sale was mostly small groups weighing from 400 to 650 lbs. with a large
percentage weaned with 1 or more round of vaccinations. Several
consignments were new crop fall calves weighing mostly 350 to 500 lbs.
